The rules of the road

1. Acceptance

By subscribing to AI Stew, visiting aistew.net, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please unsubscribe and stop using the site.

2. What we offer

AI Stew is a free email newsletter covering AI tools, builds, and operator-relevant news. Some issues include affiliate links to third-party products and services.

3. No professional advice

AI Stew is content, not advice. Nothing in our emails, on aistew.net, or in our communications constitutes legal, financial, tax, medical, or professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and should consult a qualified professional before acting on anything you read.

4. Affiliate relationships

AI Stew earns commissions when readers click affiliate links and make purchases. We:

• Disclose every affiliate link clearly inside each issue ("Affiliate Link" tag + W3C rel="sponsored")
• Only feature products we actually use
• Cap affiliate-monetized placements per issue per our editorial policy
• Receive commissions at no extra cost to you

We may receive products or service credits at no cost in connection with affiliate relationships. When this happens, it does not influence editorial coverage — every featured tool earns coverage on the merits, and the editorial team retains full discretion.

5. Intellectual property

All content in AI Stew issues and on aistew.net is owned by J1 Media Productions LLC unless attributed to a third party. You may:

• Share issues with friends and colleagues in full, unmodified form
• Quote short passages with attribution and a link back

You may not:

• Republish issues in full on another website without written permission
• Use AI Stew content to train commercial AI models
• Remove disclosures, affiliate tags, or attribution
• Use the AI Stew brand or J1 Media Productions name in any way that suggests endorsement of your product or service without written permission

6. Third-party links

We link to third-party websites in every issue. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Use them at your own risk.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

AI Stew and aistew.net are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content. AI tools and platforms change constantly — what we describe today may behave differently tomorrow.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, J1 Media Productions LLC and its members, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of AI Stew or aistew.net. Our total liability for any claim related to AI Stew shall not exceed $100.

This section does not limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify J1 Media Productions LLC against any claims arising out of your misuse of AI Stew content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may terminate your access to AI Stew (i.e. unsubscribe you and bar re-subscription) at our discretion, including for spam, abuse, harassment, or violation of these Terms. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The Last updated date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of AI Stew after changes constitutes acceptance.
